Jacky has worked with international law firms including Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Taylor Wessing and Noerr on complex cross-border disputes. He has worked with corporations and governments particularly focused on commercial and investor-state arbitration in the energy, infrastructure and mining sectors.

He has published and spoken on panels on international investment law, the environment, cybersecurity and blockchain technology.

He was a Lead Associate for the Emerging Technology Group at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, a cross-office initiative within his previous firm.

Owing to an interest in technology, he learnt to code and can rapidly prototype with AI tools (e.g. Cursor and Claude Code). He is currently building AI workflows, automations and customised tools for lawyers. His focus is on bringing legal technology to legal teams of all sizes.

He is an Australian-qualified lawyer and a member of the Law Society of NSW. He holds an LL.M. from Humboldt University of Berlin, and dual Bachelors of Commerce and Law (LLB) with UNSW, Sydney.
